A distinguished galaxy of Jews from all parts of the world today issued an appeal to all friends of the Zionist workers to participate in the World Congress for Palestine Workers which opens in Berlin, September 27. Those who signed the appeal are Prof. Albert Einstein, Prof. Sigmund Freud, Leon Blum, Abraham Shiplacoff, Dr. Martin Buber, Lion Feuchtwanger, Prof. Simeon Dubnow, Sholom Asch, Chaim Nachman Bialik, Dr. Eduard Bernstein, Dr. Hermann Badt, Arnold Zweig, Max Brod, and Latzki-Bertoldi.
The appeal emphasizes that political conditions in the East endanger a Jewish-Arabic understanding and that the World Congress for Palestine Workers should help solve this question. The appeal also urges that even those not connected with the General Federation of Jewish Labor in Palestine should elect delegates because of the trying situation.
