A district court judge will rule this Sunday on the validity of an administrative detention order issued by the Defense Minister against Rabbi Meir Kahane, leader of the ultranationalist “Kach” movement. The judge heard the government’s case during a five-hour closed door hearing Thursday. Kahane and on aide, Baruch Green, were placed under administrative arrest Wednesday for reportedly trying to organize a counter-terrorist movement against Palestinian Arabs.
