Support for the establishment of a Jewish Palestine after the war, was today pledged by Matthew Wohl, vice-president of the American Federation of Labor, on behalf of all organized workers on the continent. Mr. Wohl spoke at a labor leaders dinner under the auspices of the Canadian Labor Zionist Organization, which is to hold its second convention from September 12 to 14.
Citing the consistent support by the A.F. of L. for the past twenty-five years of Zionism and Jewish rights, Mr. Wohl stated that he was also “confident of the support of the British Trade Unions.”
