A Florida judge ruled the state’s voucher law unconstitutional. Throwing out the nation’s first statewide program to help children in failing public schools attend private schools, the judge allowed 53 children attending private schools under a state voucher program to finish the school year, but ordered the state to take no further action to implement the law.
