A French reporter was shot during West Bank clashes between Israeli troops and Palestinians rioting to mark “Al Nakba,” Arabic for “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the creation of the State of Israel. The Israeli army said it is investigating the incident in which Bertrand Aguirre, who was wearing a flak jacket, was lightly injured.
