A fringe U.S. politician took out a full-page ad in The New York Times to defend a play some have said blames Jews for the 1991 Crown Heights riots. Lenora Fulani denied that the play, called “Crown Heights,” is anti-Semitic and says she is a bridge builder who wants to bring blacks and Jews together.
