A German court banned right-wing extremists from protesting the construction of a new synagogue. The court in Muenster said the National Democratic Party of Germany could not demonstrate against plans to build a synagogue in Bochum, whose last synagogue was destroyed by Nazi arsonists during the Kristallnacht pogrom in November 1938.
