A German Jewish leader being investigated for possible involvement in drugs and prostitution sued the Berlin Justice Department over allegedly illegal police searches of his home and office. Michel Friedman’s lawyer told The Associated Press that prosecutors had carried out a “public hanging” of his client by leaking information about the case.
