A group of 120 mayors from Germany, France and England were in Israel today for a two-week visit as guests of the Local Authorities Center here. The German contingent, the largest of the groups, brought greetings from West Berlin Mayor Willy Brandt who encouraged them to go to Israel, where, he said, he had been very impressed with the development of the local authorities system. Also visiting Israel is a group of 53 members of the Danish resistance movement who came here as guests of the Danish-Israel Friendship Association.
