A group of Israeli and Palestinian academics issued a joint call to return to the negotiating table. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that the academics’ meeting was initiated by former Israeli Justice Minister Yossi Beilin and the Palestinian Authority’s information minister, Yasser Abed Rabbo.
