A group representing some 22,000 Polish victims of the Holocaust plans to sue the German government for about $1.2 billion. The group includes former Nazi slave laborers and concentration camp prisoners. Their lawsuit is expected to put more pressure on the German government, which earlier this year began overseeing an effort by 12 leading German companies to create a fund to compensate former slave workers.
