A grove of trees was planted near Maaleh Hahamisha in the Jerusalem Hills last week in memory of Israel’s long-time Education Minister Zalman Aranne who died in Sept., 1970. Aranne retired in 1969. The ceremony was conducted by Jacob Tsur, chairman of the Jewish National Fund. Also present were Knesset Speaker Yaacov Herzog and ORT President Haim Herzog.
