A Hebrew cultural club, “Tushia” has been organized by a group of Hebrew scholars, writers and teachers of Chicago. The club will meet twice a month at the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago. The aim of the organization is to conduct lectures and discussion in Hebrew and to establish a library of Hebraica in conjunction with the Judaica library of the Institute. Already 1.500 volumes have been collected and will be available to members and the public. A special section in the Institute’s library has been seaside for this department.
