A Hebron market reopened after a year, with a fence to separate Palestinians and Israeli settlers. The market, which adjoins the Jewish enclave in the West Bank city, was shut in November 2002. There was a new feature in place at last Friday’s opening: an avenue of green poles topped by metal grillwork.
