A Holocaust conference on Jews in formerly Romanian territories was held in Moldova. Monday’s conference, “Destiny of Jews in Bessarabia, Northern Bucovina and Transnistria in 1940-1944,” was organized by the State Teacher Training University, Elie Wiesel’s National Institute for Studying the Holocaust in Romania and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
