A Holocaust memorial in Berlin was vandalized.
German police said Wednesday that vandals had struck overnight at the Platform 17 memorial at the Grunewald train station in the capital, knocking over candles and burning an Israeli flag. A police investigation is under way.
Platform 17 commemorates the more than 50,000 Jews who were shipped to death camps from Grunewald station during World War II.
