A Holocaust survivor gave a concert and released a CD of Jewish songs in Slovakia. Ervin Schonhauser sang about concentration camps to a crowd of several hundred to mark the debut of his new CD, the first album of Jewish songs produced in Slovakia, which was a puppet state to Nazi Germany during World War II. The album — called “Lechayim!,” or “Cheers!,”– also includes songs of joy, faith and children’s lullabies.
