A House of Representatives resolution would recognize the plight of Jewish refugees from Arab countries. The non-binding resolution to be introduced Thursday, sponsored by Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) and Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), would acknowledge the hardships of Jews who fled Arab countries around the time of Israel’s founding and call on the United Nations to establish a program to resettle Palestinian refugees abroad.
