The situation of the Jews in Germany and in other countries where there are repercussions of the Nazi anti-Semitic campaign, especially in the United States, was among the subjects under consideration at an extraordinary session of the American Jewish Committee held in the Standard Club here today. More than 300 representatives of sixty-seven cities in twenty-seven states attended.
Reports were submitted describing conditions in various Jewish communities throughout the world, and dealing with the anti-Jewish agitation in the United States. Dr. Cyrus Adler presided and presented a survey of the world Jewish situation.
Among those present who joined in the discussions were Sol M. Stroock, Morris Wolf, Max J. Kohler, Sidney Wallach: Henry Monsky, of Omaha; Judge M. G. Baron, of St. Louis; Dr. D. Philipson and Benjamin Berman of Cincinnati; Sol Kline, Max Adler, Lessing Rosenwald, judge Joseph B. David, Judge Harry M. Fisher: S. O. Levinson of Chicago, Anna F. Goldberg and D.M. Alexander of Detroit.
