The American Jewish Congress has intervened in behalf of two Egyptian Jewish students who have been ordered to return to Egypt where they insist they face religious persecution end anti-Semitic terror and violence, it was announced here today.
The Congress yesterday presented a brief and exceptions to a preliminary adverse ruling in the cases of the two students who seek to remain in this country under the DP immigration law. The names of the students have been withheld for fear of retaliation by the Egyptian authorities against their families.
