The American Jewish Congress has called an emergency conference of 2,000 representatives of Jewish organizations in the metropolitan area for June 10 at the Hotel Astor to plan a program of action to combat anti-Semitic terrorism in Poland. The conference will discuss, among other plans, a one-hour stoppage of Jews from work and closing of Jewish establishments throughout the country to express the solidarity of the American Jews with the Polish Jews.
