A farewell reception to Dr. N. Nurok, Latvian chief rabbi, statesman and scholar, will be given by the American Jewish Congress at the Hotel Astor on Thursday evening. Afterwards he will leave to speak in various parts of the country and will return to Latvia early next month.
He is visiting the United States for the first time, having come here in connection with the recently concluded session of the administration committee of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. He will speak over radio station WFAB at 9:15 o’clock this evening on the problems of Europe’s Jews.
