A Jerusalem court sentenced a Russian immigrant to six years in jail and a fine of nearly $1.4 million on charges of fraud and attempted bribery totaling tens of millions of dollars. The sentence against Gregory Lerner was agreed to in a plea bargain worked out last month between Israeli prosecutors and Lerner’s attorneys.
