A Jewish day school in Buenos Aires was saved from extinction. The Chabad-Lubavitch organization invested the money that helped the school open Sunday. The school now will be called the Center for Jewish Education Menajem M. Tabacinic — Wolfsohn School. Since 2000, at least six Jewish schools in Argentina, which suffered a severe economic downturn in the first few years of the millennium, have closed.
