A Jewish festival honoring Passover was held in Buenos Aires.
The third annual “Urban Pesach” was held last weekend in the heart of the Palermo neighborhood, a popular tourist destination.
Nearly 20,000 visitors sampled traditional Jewish dishes, listened to Jewish music, and viewed displays of Jewish ornaments and ritual objects. Phrases evoking freedom hung on a “reflection tree.”
Kits to hold a seder at home were available.
The organizing group YOK also puts together an “Urban Rosh HaShanah” festival.
