A Jewish group is suing the State Department on behalf of a U.S. couple who want their son’s passport to list his birthplace as Jerusalem, Israel. The Zionist Organization of America, acting on behalf of Jocelyn and Dan Odenheimer, is taking the State Department to federal court to enforce legislation passed last year allowing U.S. citizens born in Jerusalem to list the city as being in Israel in their U.S. documents.
