A Jewish legislator is calling on Hillary Rodham Clinton to take a stand on whether to free Jonathan Pollard. The case of Pollard, who is serving a life sentence after admitting he was an Israeli spy, is “certain to become a serious issue in the New York senate contest,” New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D- Brooklyn) said at a rally Sunday. Hikind added that Clinton, who is contemplating a run for the Senate seat, should try to persuade her husband to free Pollard.
