A Jewish museum is set to open in Denmark this spring. The foundation of Danish pianist and satirist Victor Borge has donated $250,000 toward a Jewish Museum in Copenhagen, set to open June 8. Designed by U.S. architect Daniel Libeskind and funded by the Danish Ministry of Culture and private foundations like Borge’s, the collection of books, manuscripts, religious and everyday objects will pay tribute to Danish Jewry.
