A knife-wielding Bethlehem man was arrested in a Jerusalem high school after attempting to stab a student there. The Palestinian was subdued by other students and passersby. Israeli media reports said he managed to enter the school after a guard went on a routine patrol of the school, leaving the gate open. The man reportedly told police he carried out the assault because he was despondent over not having a girlfriend.
