A. L. Riklis, noted Jewish Journalist and author who wrote under the pen name "Lirik," died here last night after a prolonged illness. He was 74 years old. For the past nine years, he was the Israel correspondent of the Jewish Daily Forward, a New York daily newspaper. Born in Russia, Mr. Riklis came to the United States in 1940 and worked for various New York Yiddish dailies until emigrating to Israel in 1951.
