A Latvian war crimes suspect was reportedly given a copy of a four-page indictment against him prepared by Latvian prosecutors. The document would serve as the basis of any request by Latvia to extradite Konrad Kalejs, who is currently living in Australia. Some Australian officials are concerned that Kalejs will flee before Australia and Latvia sign an extradition treaty.
