A leading daily newspaper in the Philippines published an article claiming that the Vatican has changed its religion from Catholicism to “Judeo-Christianity” and lamenting the “infiltration of talmudism in our churches.” The article in Business World — which called the Holocaust a myth “invented by Hollywood” and claimed that Pope John Paul II is Jewish — appeared after the Vatican recently issued a statement on the Holocaust saying that many Catholics, but not the church itself, had failed to do enough to save Jews from the Nazis.
