A leading French Jewish politician is considering running for the country’s presidency in 2007. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, finance minister in the previous government of Lionel Jospin and a member of Parliament in a district north of Paris with a large Jewish population, said in an interview Wednesday on BFM Radio that “the subject is on the table.”
