A Lebanese military court convicted 78 people, most of them former members of the South Lebanon Army, of collaborating with Israel during its occupation of southern Lebanon. Prison terms ranged from three weeks to three years. Since the trials of alleged collaborators began in June, the court has sentenced more than 1,600 people to jail terms of up to 20 years.
