A long-planned mission to Berlin by the United Jewish Communities has fallen victim to the current world crisis. The first-ever official trip to Germany by the U.S. Jewish umbrella organization was canceled during a meeting in New York on Wednesday, according to UJC Senior Associate Vice President Gail Reiss. The trip, originally set for October 14-18, has been rescheduled for October 2002.
