A majority of Israelis support Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s plan to “disengage” from the Palestinians, according to a poll conducted by Israel Radio. Fifty-nine percent of respondents voiced their support for unilateral disengagement, while only 22 percent opposed it, The Jerusalem Post reported.
