A meeting aimed at establishing a possible Israeli-Palestinian summit apparently made no progress. Israel Radio reported that the Palestinians failed to present any new ideas for cracking down on terror at Wednesday’s meeting between Dov Weisglass, Ariel Sharon’s chief of staff, and his counterpart in Ahmed Qurei’s office, Hassan Abu Libdeh.
