A meeting was held in Foschani today by the Jewish population to protest against the dissolution of the Jewish Community Council and its substitution by an Executive appointed by the government.
The mass meeting expressed its conviction that this constitutes an infringement upon Jewish autonomous rights.
The meeting issued a demand that the Community elections, scheduled to be held on April 23rd. be conducted under the supervision of elected representatives and not under the direction of appointees of the authorities.
