A Muslim students society in South Africa burned an Israeli flag at an anti- Israel demonstration. The protesters were countered by Jewish students who sang Israel’s national anthem, “Hatikvah.” The rallies came in the wake of Israel’s 50th anniversary celebrations and the withholding of a visa to a Hamas leader.
