A national conference of Keren Hayesod workers in the Republic of Poland will be held here on November 5. Representatives from 442 cities are expected to attend. Messages to the conference were received from Lord Balfour, Emile Vandervelde. Sir Wyndham Deedes, Col. Josiah Wedgwood, Herriot, Lord Melchett, Justin Godard and Sholom Asch.

Leib Jaffe, Director of the Keren Hayesod, who is now on a visit here, in connection with the conference, was recieved today by the speaker of the Polish Senate, Szymanski. The Speaker recalled in the conversation his visit to Palestine thirty years ago and was gratified to hear of the progress made in the country.
