A new agreement paves the way for construction to begin on the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The city of Warsaw, a major financier of the museum, signed a contract with Finnish architect Rainer Mahlamaki on Saturday. The signing, which took place just before Polish President Lech Kaczynski’s visit to Israel this week, means construction can officially begin.
