A number of former members of the now defunct Rafi party decided to form a new party– rather than join Moshe Dayan’s Telem party. Most of the participants in this group come from development towns, and they are headed by Knesset member Yitzhak Peretz, chairman of the Zionist General Council. The new list intends to engage in talks with the Oded group, headed by Knesset member Mordechai Algrabli, formerly of the Democratic Movement For Change, and the Ahava group, headed by MK Shlomo Eliahu, also formerly of the DMC, in order to make up a joint list for the June elections.
