A Palestinian boy was injured in clashes with Israeli troops at the reopening of Rachel’s Tomb in the West Bank town of Bethlehem. Tens of thousands of fervently Orthodox Jews had gathered to commemorate the anniversary of the death of the biblical matriarch Rachel and the opening of a fortified complex protecting the tomb, which has been a frequent site of violent Palestinian protests for more than a year.
