A Palestinian girl was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip, Palestinians said. The death of the 13-year-old occurred after Israeli soldiers fired into the town of Khan Yunis in response to a possible infiltration into a nearby Jewish settlement. Israeli officials said they were checking the report.
