A Palestinian security official trying to infiltrate a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip was killed in a firefight with Israeli troops. The man was not in uniform when he tried to enter Kfar Darom, but carried documents identifying him as a member of the Palestinian Preventive Security Service.
