A Palestinian woman was sentenced to 16 life terms for abetting the suicide bomber at Jerusalem’s Sbarro restaurant. Ahlam Tamimi, a 22-year-old Jordanian national, refused to voice regret in an Israeli military court when she was convicted of driving the Hamas bomber to the attack that killed 16 people, including a family of five, in August 2001.
