A petition expressing full support for the Cabinet’s stand on questions of war and peace was signed by 900 students within 24 hours and sent Friday to Premier Golda Meir. The students – all from Hebrew University – specifically disassociated themselves from the position of the 32 professors of Hebrew U and Tel Aviv University who claimed earlier last week that the Cabinet was not doing enough to achieve peace with the Arabs.
