A pre-Thanksgiving dinner of Temple Ansche Chesed. Seventh Avenue and 114th Street, New York City, was held at the Hotel Astor last night under the auspices of the Sisterhood of the temple. The advisability of erecting a new and much larger edifice was discussed. Among the speakers were the Rev. Dr. Jacob Kohn, Meyer Goodfriend, Edward Margolies, Henry Unger, Sol Mutterperl, Rabbi Isidore Newman and Leon Kohn.
