A pro-Palestinian film due to be shown at a French movie theater was canceled following pressure from the local city council. Local Palestinian solidarity groups had organized a screening of “Jenin, Jenin,” by Israeli Arab producer Mohammed Bakri, in the city of Mulhouse on Thursday. The deputy mayor of Mulhouse, Michel Samuel-Weis, said he had asked the theater to cancel the screening.
