A rabbi arrested for protesting the Iraq war goes on trial Wednesday. Rabbi Arthur Waskow of the Shalom Center in Philadelphia faces charges in Washington of demonstrating without a permit, stemming from his participation in a mass anti-war protest in front of the White House in September. Waskow joins 103 other defendants, including Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a U.S. soldier killed in Iraq who has emerged as an antiwar leader.
